Planning a First Birthday/ Half birthday or Cake Smash session?
What a beautiful Milestone! Your baby is ONE!
Tha first year was so full of surprises. So many "firsts" .
From baby's first bath, to first smile, to the first signs of that tooth poking through!
Maybe he/she is already taking a few steps!
Your child's first birthday should be celebrated! Their first trip around the sun is a big deal! They have learned and grown so much in the past 12 months, and so have you!
Let me help you plan your baby's first birthday session.
I love shooting outdoors in the Spring, Summer and Fall months. If your baby's birthday is during the winter, I can come to your house or I can recommend a studio where we can rent their space for an hour!
A few questions you might have:
Do you supply props?
Each birthday session is unique! Your child is unique. The time of year, the outfit you have been eyeing on Etsy, the theme of their party! I have a few things I can offer you to use, free of charge, but parents usually supply any props they want for the session, and that they have already planned to use at their child's party.
I have a vintage wooden High Chair, a white Tepee tent (great for either boy or girl), white rocking chair, dark wood rocking chair, some blankets and pillows. Feel free to request anything I have for your baby's session!
If we want a cake smash, do you supply the cake?
I do not. I have a wonderful list of bakeries I recommend. I would not want to feed your child anything they might be allergic to. You know your child best and can pick a cake better than I can!
How far in advance should a book my baby's First birthday/cake smash session?
I recommend getting in touch with me at least 4 to 6 weeks before their birthday. Sometimes my calendar books weeks in advance, add in the turnaround time to deliver your gallery, (which is up to 2 weeks, depending on my work load) and any other factors, like outfit shipping times, bakery availability etc, and a whole month went by! So please get in touch as soon as you can!
